Waterland Trading history
In 1991 Peter Bleyenberg started a business in used telescopic cranes in Broek in Waterland in Noord Holland. Due to continued growth, Waterland Trading moved into new and hypermodern business premises in Edam, a town famous for its cheese, in 1998. That same year the company became the exclusive importer of the much-praised Tadano FAUN telescopic cranes due to the available expertise, vision and the new business premises. Five years later, the dealership for Belgium followed. Waterland Trading also opened premises in the Belgium town of Diest for this dealership. These developments in combination with a high service level ensured that the Edam location also became too small far to quickly. With the purchase of business premises with its own business park (surface area of 15,000 m²) in Purmerend, the company is now fully prepared to meet future demands.
